Stockholm-Dramacorp’s primary mission is to secure the creative and financial packaging for fresh and original projects that are capable of standing out in the global drama market. It currently develops a slate of projects in a range of genres and budgets, in partnership with Scandinavian and international producers and talent.
Dramacorp was launched in 2016 by veteran Swedish-French drama executive Patrick Nebout and Beta Film’s Jan Mojto, whose German distribution company is a major shareholder.
The company focuses on the origination, development and executive production of high-concept drama with international appeal.
Our concept is horizontal rather than vertical, so we partner with local producers whenever it makes sense. Our aim is to make compelling and profitable drama and to shorten time-to-market.
Nebout previously co-founded NICE Drama together with Dramacorp’s creative director Henrik Jansson-Schweizer. Their credits include the production of The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared, Sweden’s most successful film ever at box-office; SVT-YLE’s hit family saga Thicker Than Water; and the Canal+/SVT’s crime thriller Midnight Sun, the first ever dramaseries to be co-produced by French-Swedish partners.
